The Prim rib melted in my mouth. I heard about house of Prim rib from a friend so I decided to go with my family from out of town for a change. They had the best service and the food was mouth watering. My family said that they have never tasted prim rib like they did at the House Of Prim Rib... They told me every time they come back to see me they want to go to the HOUSE OF PRIM RIB....

The food here is excellent. I recommend the ahi tuna starter. The wild mushroom bisque they offered before the meal and the pastry tray they offered after the meal were excellent too. I ate at One Market on the same trip and while the food there was very good, Gary Danko was much better. I think it deserves more than one Michelin star.
Pros: Excellent food

My husband and I went to this San Francisco landmark restaurant the other evening to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary and all I can say is.....what a romantic evening! The restaurant is cozy(the lighting is great!) , it wasn't too crowded on the night we were there (perhaps a sign of this awful economy?!) The waiter was gracious and very efficient, the food exceptional and the dessert (yes you have to save room for dessert!) was scrumptious! and what followed later on that evening, well, just use your imagination! ;) Seriously if you are looking for fine dining, a romantic dinner or perhaps to entertain business clients than definitely pay this San Francisco landmark restaurant a visit, you will be very glad you did!
Pros: Great food, attentive wait staff, wonderful wine list, romantic atmosphere, great location!
Cons: Nothing!

Well worth the trip from downtown to eat and sample the brews. Service was friendly and above average, we wandered in dressed for the walk, and got a great window seat and prompt service. Excellent beer and great food, and very reasonable prices.
Pros: Great beer, food, service

First of all, this is a high end restaurant, they take reservations, and most people go well dressed. I like to go to restaurants with great food but I do not like to dress up, and its nice to have the option to dress just "comfortable". The food is very good and up to what you expect at this price range. The service is good too, although I personally do not like to be asked how everything is while I have my mouth full. It is considered good service to check up on the customer so I guess they are just doing their job.
They always have something new on the menu and often redo their entire menu with new items. All in all, a typical dinner here with no wine and dessert will cost you about $75 per person. If that is in your price range for a special occasion or just because you want to have great food, I can certainly recommend The Farallon to you.
Pros: Good food
Cons: Price

I love this place. It has a wonderful homey atmosphere. Nothing beats the fireplaces and tarp ceiling on the second floor. You have to order the shorts ribs... the meat falls off the bone and melt in you mouth. Not only do they have great food, it's one of the few pet friendly restaurants. There is a semi outdoor seating area where you can dine with your furry friends. They even provide water bowls on the floor. How cute is that?

If you are impatient or in a hurry, I'd pass, but you'll be sorry. This was one of the best breakfast spots I've visited. Well worth the 30 minute+ wait to get to the door. Choosing your breakfast will be the hardest part. Food was exceptional in this intimate setting. Service attentive and very friendly. Sally was great (go Kalamazoo!!). Wide selection of fresh breads, fruit, juices and willingness to accomodate fickle palates made the experience worth every penny. Note to the wise, NO CREDIT CARDS! Bring your cash and enough of it because breakfast is not going to be cheap, but you won't regret it.
Pros: Ambience, Best fresh breads
