Tower Records has been a staple in the San Diego community for many years. At one time there were numerous locations and this was the place to buy records, especially ska, mod and alternative rock. Unfortunately the times have changed and this location is only one of a few left in existence. It's still a great music store and you can find many harder to find music albums here. The locations is right off of Sports Arena Blvd so parking can be at a premium at certain times of the day. There is definitely an eclectic crowd that enters the store but everybody has one thing in common, music. Take a visit and I'm sure you'll find something to take home with you.

tower records has everything! from music do video to books.. they have the widest music selection which is great. anyy type of style, you name it, they probably have it. the prices arent bad, typical cd cost. well organized though. they do special order vinyl records which is nice, except they're somewhat expensive since they specialize in cd's. awesome store.
