his company has taken over $20000 out of my equity! Fees that weren't agreed to have gone into their pockets. Paperwork which don't have my signature appeared in the escrow afterwards. Complaints are being filed with many agencies that have oversight into the case. This is a warning from someone with first hand experience! Pros: NONE Cons: Will not get what you discussed

The loan agent told us that we were getting a 0-point loan. It turned out to be a 4-point?loan origination and discount fees were never disclosed to us. The notary came to our house to sign the loan papers. He said he was a third party with no ties to First Financial. When you google his name, he's actually the CEO of the mortgage division at First Financial San Diego. When we questioned the fees on the loan paper, he told us "Don't worry as they are not final. You will get the money back after you make the first mortgage payment." We never got our money because First Financial took them. When we pursued First Financial for money we were entitled to, the president of the company dared to say ?promises were made to the borrower verbally and I would have no way of knowing or verifying it.?? Pros: Learn a very expensive lesson Cons: Everything
