I have used Gold Coast Moving twice in the last month (June 18th and July 3rd). Once for an intown move and the second time to unload and ABF container from back east. They have been extremely professional, courteous, responsive, and did a great job. The crew showed up on time, worked very diligently (and quickly), and took very good care of our stuff. Five and a half hours total to move a four-bedroom house from one spot in San Diego to another. I would recommend them to anyone and think they are a great organization. Good job, Gold Coast Moving, and keep up the good work! Pros: good pricing, looks like a football team comes to move you Cons: i can't do it myself

Amongst all the 5 star reviews, this one will probably stick out like a sore thumb. But it's important for anyone considering hiring these guys to know that things can go wrong with anybody. We hired these guys about a month ago when we had to move our stuff from our house to a storage place, after we saw the excellent feedback online. Jordan came a week earlier and was courteous, professional and gave fairly accurate estimate. However on the day of the move, everything seemed to go wrong. First came the flat-out, 'not my job' kind of refusal to disconnect the washer/dryer which Jordan had promised would be done. It took a stress inducing call to Jordan and some back and forth to sort out. Then came the silent, not talking with a straight face, not taking any instruction whatsoever, sort of hostile behavior from the two guys who were moving the stuff. I'm a very hands off, do your thing, non-meddling person. What little I had to tell was ignored or barely acknowledged. When I asked them to be careful with the red X marked fragile boxes, one of them said, "if we didn't pack 'em, we don't really care". I was shocked and taken aback and decided not to interact with them after that. After that, they wouldn't make eye contact, were openly disrespectful and what's worse we never found out what their problem was till the end. We just hope you're not unlucky enough to end up with these guys on the day of the move. Nobody deserves that. Pros: Reasonable price Cons: Arrogant, Disrespectful, Hostile ...

Great, courteous, careful, efficient and professional only begin to describe the positive experience I had with Gold Coast Moving. They had everything packed in the truck quickly, followed my instructions to the letter, and everything got to its destination with not a scratch on anything. This was a tricky move, with some things going from a 3rd floor condo Hillcrest to a 2nd floor loft Downtown, and the rest went out to my son's condo in PB. Yes, we will use you again. Dan, Torrey and Steve were just what anyone could ask for in a mover. Pros: the guys were on time Cons: none

I was extremely nervous when choosing a moving company. My friend moved 2 weeks before me and the experience was a nightmare. From my first phone call to Gold Coast Movers my fears were eased. Everyone was very professional and my move went smooth as ever! The fact that they provide a trained, professional staff in uniforms sets them apart from many other companies. They were fast, efficient and treated my possessions as if they were their own. I would strongly recommend this company to everyone. Thanks guys for making my move a successful one!!!!!!

The movers were professional and easy to communicate with as we has a few special details we needed to work out. They worked hard all day and without taking breaks which was pretty impressive. We had no damages to our belongings. All in all our experience was better than we had with other movers and we will be referring them to friends and family.

Gold Coast Moving the best in the business. I have needed to use movers at least 7 times in the ten years I've lived in the San Diego area. The last three times I have used Gold Coast and it has been great. I used them for my business once and personal the other two times and will continue to go back. Things that impressed me the most: 1. Gold Coast is On time! Never has another mover shown up when they said they would. 2. Employee Retension! They must treat their employees great because I have had the same crew leader all three times I used Gold Coast and he is the best! Trust Me, Gold Coast is the best mover in the San Diego area.

These guys were wonderful. Moving is stressful as it is and you dont want to have added stress worrying about your belongings. The guys were very friendly, and time efficient. All of our stuff arrived in one piece and they took the time to ask us where we wanted them to set our stuff instead of just dumping it in one pile in the living room. When I move again, the will be the first people we call!!

These guys are so professional I was amazed!! My furniture is extremely heavy and oversized and these fellas got it out of one townhouse and up 3 flights of turning stairs in another without one scratch! Wrapped and padded absolutely everything and finished in a very timely manner!! This is the only company I will use in the future. Our movers were Dan, Juan Brandon, and Terry Tray.Thank you Gold Coast! Pros: Everything Cons: none

These guys were incredible! They were the best estimate we got of 3, and even then, they charged us $1000 less than that estimate!! Like that ever happens, right? They moved us from downtown Rancho Bernardo and things couldn't have gone better. I will definitely recommend them to anyone that is moving. What a professional and friendly crew! Our team was led by Dan. He and the other gentleman arrived on time, were very efficient, took great care of our belongings, and provided excellent communication. I really appreciated that they introduced themselves to us, making sure that we knew their names. They were a credit to the company. Our move was about 2 hours shorter than anticipated. They were even willing to make an extra stop and go back for a refrigerator we left behind we we weren't sure about space. I'd definitely recommend the company and this particular team for any move. Pros: Fast and Cheaper than other companies Cons: None
