The Hilton San Diego is located right in the exciting Gaslamp Quarter and is great place to stay if you enjoy walking around to see the shops and popular restaurants nearby. The rooms were in good condition and very clean and well-maintained. Would stay here again.

Beach Cities Landscape Incorporated is one of the best Landscapers in Spring Valley. They have an excellent staff and are really knowledgeable. Their prices are about average for a landscaper. I used them because of not being able to grow grass in my backyard. They fixed that problem. They got rid of the rocks in the ground and put a special soil on the top. They did a bunch of stuff I could do but I would have to pay for equipment + supplies.
Beach Cities Landscape Incorporated is an excellent landscape company.

This review is current as of July 2007. I gave a four star rating here, not to imply this is a four star hotel, but because it was a decent value. You should know you are getting a former YMCA, actually the building was built in 1924 as the serviceman's YMCA. But it has been fixed up and converted to a hotel. Yes there are shared baths, but I never had a problem getting one when I needed it. Half have showers and half have toilet/sink combinations. You get what you pay for here, and when I stayed, my rate was $55/night but understand that can vary with demand. The place was full of budget minded tourists like myself and some using the communal kitchen. The location is pretty good, with Horton Plaza walking distance, I walked to the convention center and the USS Midway museum and the ferries and trolleys are very close. The 992 bus to the airport passes right in front of the hotel and is about 12 minutes to the airport for $2.25.
I got a twin bed, and a cute flat panel tv in the room. I commend the maid service and desk people as friendly and responsive. My only complaint is that one of two elevators was not working and I understand it has not been working for quite some time. That will cause a big problem when the remaining elevator fails, and I believe you can count on that happening some day.
Pros: price, location, transportation nearby
Cons: shared bath (but tolerable), not good for parking, elevator not working

Talk about serious fishing! First of all, Point Loma Sportfishing has a huge selection of fishing poles, bait and tackle, and lines. That's taken for granted. But the best thing about this place is all the different boats you can rent or charter, whether you're a beginner fisherman or nearly a professional on OLN. You can go day diving, twilight fishing, or whale watching. You can even rent out a boat for a week or more if you really want to! So whether you are a beginner or a seasoned fisherman, and whether or not you have your own boat or not, Point Loma sportfishing is the right place for you, and sure makes a memorable weekend getaway.

This is a great place to stay: It's clean, service is great, and the rooms have two separate living areas and a kitchen. The complimentary breakfast is great. We always recommend this hotel to people who are visiting even though it's not the closest hotel to us.

Ok, I don't know where to start other than this place Rocks! The food is Gourmet Homemade. The scones ohhh the scones I'm going back for more. The Staff was amazingly great with happy smiles and helpful tips for around the town dine out places. For the first time going to a B+B it was an amazing experience.

They did an excellent job with my move. They arrived on time, were thoughtful and considerate about the job. They began working immediately, worked efficiently and continuously until the job was done. They moved my belongings like professionals. They were polite and easy going; if they were stressed they certainly didn't show it. They made the whole thing look very easy. As you know moving is stressful and I felt at ease watching them work. Please thank them very much, they were wonderful! I'll recommend your services to my friends.

Newly renovated rooms are beautiful, and kid-friendly. Very clean. The larger rooms (not in the tower) have nicer & larger bathrooms, which is important if you have kids.
Movies are shown at night by the pool, where you can also see the Sea World fireworks. The pier has boat & jet ski rentals. 2 pools - one deep, and one extremely shallow for toddlers.
Located at Mission Bay, the resort is close to everything. 5 minute drive to Sea World. About 15-20 minutes to La Jolla & Coronado beaches (go to Coronado - the beach is way nicer & it's easier to park).

I really like the way City Movers LLC offers the free shrink wrap. I know my furniture isn't "fine", but it's mine and the last thing I need are scratches throughout. Really a good moving service. Fortunately I'm pretty lucky every time I hire movers.
