I'm from the San Francisco bay area and the best Thai restaurants I've ever eaten at are located in the heart of the city. BUT I have to admit, Amarin definitely ranks up there as the best Thai restaurant I've ever eaten at in Southern California. They make the best GA PROW I've tasted in a long time. The food here is quite authentic and very deliciously flavored. Service is good and the atmosphere is delightful. A definite 5 out of 5 stars!!!

The three flavored fish is really amazing here. It has a combination of flavors that is well worth the price! They serve really good thai food and their prices are similar to other Thai restaurants. The only downside is that the restaurant is small, so it is not ideal for larger groups and parking can sometimes be hard because it is in hillcrest. They by far blow out the competition in Thai food though.

I have to disagree with the last rating. The food is very cheep and phenomenal! Lunch specials are more than reasonably priced, the service is great and the place is classy. Fresh flowers on each table and no paper napkins. My favorite Thai restaurant.

Located in a high traffic strip mall, this Thai restaurant serves the best combination of flavor, portion and price for its dishes in town. The curries (not too thick and not too wet) are delicious and can be ordered with the widest selection of meats, or tofu, or mock. You do not have to look to hard to find other great noodles beyond their Pad thai, the spicy noodles (herb spicy flavor) or pad se-ew (sweet black bean flavor) are great alternatives. Attentative-professional service and nice dining atmosphere.

This place has really awesome Indonesian and Thai food. I had never tried Indonesian food before but found it really delicious and not spicy at all. Their chicken with peanut sauce and pad thai are incredible. Try the fried tofu with sweet sauce. This place is definitely one of my favorites.

This is one of the best places to eat Thai food, everything is so full of flavor! It was as if it was straight from Thailand. Wonderful service! I would leave some room for their desserts, their mango with sweet rice is to die for!

While I lived in San Diego this was the one restaurant above all others that I wanted to eat at on a regular basis. I could eat here every day. I would recommend this to everyone who wants really good food. They also spice it to your liking, meaning mild burn to call the fire department. The staff is friendly and efficient. I have not been able to find a restaurant that is anywhere near this one.
Pros: The best Thai food I have ever had.
