This is one of the best places to eat Thai food, everything is so full of flavor! It was as if it was straight from Thailand. Wonderful service! I would leave some room for their desserts, their mango with sweet rice is to die for!

Best authenctic Thai food I have had in a very long time. Very consistent. Great wine and beer selection too. And open till 3AM, seven days a week. No more whining that I can not get great food late into the night.
Pros: GREAT food. They also validate parking at the Union Bank Building.

I went to Hawaii once and all ate for a week was grilled ahi tuna and grilled veggies. I found this place and I found the ahi tuna I had been missing from Hawaii! They have a great Hawaiian BBQ.

Thai Grill is FANTASTIC! I came to Thai Grill when I moved to San Diego in August and have not been to any other thai place since. The summer rolls are TO DIE FOR! Vegetarians have so many options because any dish can be made with mock meat or tofu. The restaurant is small, feels like you are in someone's home. You literally place an order and can hear the chef cooking right behind the room divider. Definitely a place for all palates as the menu is very broad. All dishes can be prepared mild or "Thai Spicy" if you dare!
Pros: taste, atmosphere, romantic
Cons: not a good place for a large group

Go here before it closes. A great San Diego spot up between Bankers Hill and Hillcrest. Uses seasonal ingredients in their food and does a great job of it. I recommend the tasting menu and ask your waiter to pair it with wines for a true experience.

This place has really awesome Indonesian and Thai food. I had never tried Indonesian food before but found it really delicious and not spicy at all. Their chicken with peanut sauce and pad thai are incredible. Try the fried tofu with sweet sauce. This place is definitely one of my favorites.

The three flavored fish is really amazing here. It has a combination of flavors that is well worth the price! They serve really good thai food and their prices are similar to other Thai restaurants. The only downside is that the restaurant is small, so it is not ideal for larger groups and parking can sometimes be hard because it is in hillcrest. They by far blow out the competition in Thai food though.

While I lived in San Diego this was the one restaurant above all others that I wanted to eat at on a regular basis. I could eat here every day. I would recommend this to everyone who wants really good food. They also spice it to your liking, meaning mild burn to call the fire department. The staff is friendly and efficient. I have not been able to find a restaurant that is anywhere near this one.
Pros: The best Thai food I have ever had.

Whenever a friend comes to town, going on a date or a normal night this restaurant delivers. The service is friendly and seating is quick. Can rely on quality food, tasting a new dish everytime, with no disappointment. Prices are reasonable and ambiance full of life. Parking available in the rear of the building as well.
Pros: friendly staff, fast service, great food
Cons: not enough room to try dessert
