Best Pad Thai Chicken I've found in North Park. Take out service is efficient and consistent. Just speak slowly when ordering!

I've always passed by this little restaurant when i go downtown, being a thai food lover i decided to give it a try since i was in the area. I'm happy to report this place wasnt a disappointment. The choices were the regular affair of tom kha, pad thai, tiger shrimps and curries. All of which came to be a classic delight, not too rich but had the quality i seek in my thai food. The prices are higher than I'm used to but that's because it's in the downtown area(you pay the premium!) in the end if you're in the area and this is what you crave dont be skeptical because it is rather great.

I live just a block fromt this place and I love Thai food, I have been to several Thai Restaurants locally, nationally and even to the Land of Siam, no matter how many times I been to this place I am always disappointed with thier service and most of all the food but I have to admit they are the cheapest Thai food around, so if your not bothered with the quality eat your heart out this place for you. I especially do not their curries and noodle dishes its just not at par with other Thai food restaurant around San Diego. Go to Golden Basket ( Kearney Mesa) or Lotus in Hillcrest or Downtown to see what I mean. Perhaps the area needs another Thai Restaurant to stir up competition which exactly what happen in Hillcrest. Oh they need to spruce up their interior its kind of a tad.
PROS: Location, price
CONS: Food, service and ambience

I found this place shortly after I moved to North Park, and since then, I visit there almost every other week (whenever I have money). Pretty inexpensive, it usually costs around $30 for dinner for two, the menu is extensive. My recomondations: vegetarian fried wontons and panang curry that'll knock your socks off.
PROS: Panang Curry
