I did check out avalon when I was looking into getting my tattoo. It seemed to be a very nice operation and everything was rather clean. However, I got the feeling that they didn't have time to deal with me so I went with another place on PB. I have heard many good things about this place so you should probably check it out.

Avalon is revered the nation over and is well-known for their stellar work and world-class artists. Although they are most expensive than other less known tattoo shops, their work stands for itself. Avalon is particularly known for their retro tattoos which include the Sailor Jerry-type. I'd highly recommend anyone consider this shop if they are thinking about getting their first tattoo or adding another one to the collection.

That's right! I had an old tattoo covered up by these professionals at Avalon. I, like lots of silly people, made some mistakes in my childhood. One mistake was my first tattoo. Not only did it mean nothing, it was very "not cool". I went in to Avalon and showed them the tattoo I wanted covered and the new piece I desired in it's place. They scheduled me an appointment (for a $20 down payment), and took the picture I brought in home. The day of my appointment the artist had a rough draft of what he was prepared to do. The process was almost painless (the tattoo was not painless, just the process). Highly recommended!
