It's such a fun setting, and you sit close to other tables, so you the atmosphere is already so social in itself. I'll be honest, the food leaves very little to be desired, but the show is really what you are paying for. The host is hilarious and all of the other performers are such a joy to watch. Bring your guy friends, they tend to get the most embarassed, but it's all in good fun, no harm no foul.

So, if you want to have a good time with friends with something that is a little out of the norm and a bit on the wild side, then it's imperative you take a journey to Lips Restaurant! This is a hilarious restaurant while you eat while watching a drag show. This is the place where men are women. The language can be quite foul so I definitely do not recommend it for a family outing, but I do recommend it for groups of friends that are interested in just having a good time. The menu has burgers, salads, chicken, and other American favorites like MacNCheese, but it's really the performance that makes this restaurant worth visiting. In the heart of Hillcrest, Lips is a place that exudes the uniqueness of San Diego and all the eclectic people who live here. The desserts are also awesome and they do a hilarious/raunchy introduction about them.
