Love your food and love your piano player, he sure made us feel good and welcome the way he greeted us when we came in. The variety of meat matches the variety of the piano music by Mr. Michelangelo. His repertoire is extreme and takes you from one country to another. One more thing I would like to add if I may: The salad bar needs better organizing and the desert should be included with the dinner price.

The food is the best Sand Diego has to offer, the service is exemplary, the ambiance is romantic, and the recent addition of pianist Michaelangelo on the piano is the ultimate compliment to the greatest dinung experience around. Cannot be topped!

It is about time that Rei Do Gado would hire such an amazingly entertaining pianist. Michaelangelo hit some of the most greatest music from every corner of this planet. We have listened to so many pianist before but this virtuoso has no match. We loved his style and his welcoming attitude and made us feel very special.

I have been to a Brazilian Steakhouse, in NC, this one was awesome compared to the one I have been too before. They had a huge variety of all kinds of food. It was all fresh and foods i have never tasted before. Honestly, I wanted to go back to San Deigo just to eat here again. The atmosphere was great and I would come back any time. Pros: Great variety of food Cons: no parking space

My husband and I just moved close to the gaslamp district a couple of weeks ago. Coming from Phoenix (with recent temporary stays in Texas, North Carolina and DC) we were at a loss about where to go for a decent steak dinner in our new home city. Some friends recommended Rei's and we were pleasantly surprised and will be coming back for more meals. The service was great and the food very tasty.

Great presentation of meats and great service! High quality all the time, and a large selection of traditional Brazilian sides. The bacon-wrapped filet mignon is my favorite! Pros: It seems like the selection of meats would be low quality because they're constantly coming out of the kitchen like fast food, but everything is cooked to perfection, always tasty, juicy and hot. Cons: You get interrupted a lot while eating because the servers come to your table and carve right in front of you.
