Your chow miens literally drip oil....
If you are health concious and want unclogged arteries at age 50, dont go there
But i agree, their portions are HUGE. They give you breakfast lunch and dinner in one to-go box.

Forget panda express, make the drive over to convoy and try a two entree meal at sam woo! The food is so much better and the servings are SO massive that you can probably save leftovers to last you at least three meals! There is so much food, for such a great price, it really is such a steal.

This restaurant is located in Ranch 99, the biggest chinese market in san Diego. It's convenient location allows you to shop and then grab some food to go. While this restaurant does have a pretty big sit down section, I think the best deal is their take out.
First of all, the quantities are huge. One three item combo is enough for 2 people and then leftovers still.
They are not at all stingy, they really pack the food in there.
The food is also very authentic and there is a lot of different foods to choose from.
I would recommend either a 2 or 3 item combo which is about $4 something depending on which one you get. It's cheap, fast, good. what more could you ask for?

I've been to Sam Woo several times with friends and once with my fellowship group. There is a good selection of Chinese food, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable. For example, I ordered my favorite BBQ Pork and Chow Fun in soup last Friday and it was only $3.95 for a big bowl. Although the soup base was very salty, the pork slices were generous and there was a good amount of chow fun. A good place to grab some basic Chinese fare.

The food is great and the portions are big. The prices are reasonable, a great value.
The restaurant is attached to the outside of a grocery store. Not someplace you would want to take the family or a date to dinner. Great for take out.
You may get different service as a Asian than you would otherwise.
