Star of India has five locations in San Diego and they are all pretty much the same in food quality. The food is just above average, but there is a large selection and the food is authentic. One thing that really stands out is the hospitality of the staff; they are all very nice and treat you like you're the most important guest. I also had the opportunity to sample their catered food at a graduation party and there was a definite drop in quality; however, for catering purposes, it is a good choice if you're after reasonable Indian catering.

Star of India has five locations in San Diego and they are all pretty much the same in food quality. The food is just above average, but there is a large selection and the food is authentic. One thing that really stands out is the hospitality of the staff; they are all very nice and treat you like you're the most important guest.
