Food - we used to come to this restaurant about once a week when we live downtown and the food was always delicious. Environment - The ambience at this restaurant is beautiful inside. Price - reasonable Location - great location because it is downtown but not that hard to find parking because it isn't in the Gaslamp.

My boyfriend and I had dinner at Lotus Thai at the recommendation of a co-worker, and I am so glad we found this place! The ambience is great for a date night, and the hostess and servers are always so pleasant. We have dined in twice and got carryout once, and I am always welcomed with smiling, helpful and friendly staff. And the Drunken Noodle Shrimp is excellent every time I order it! This is definitely in the rotation of date spots for my boyfriend and I! Pros: Gorgeous Atmosphere, friendly waitstaff, good food Cons: Parking, avoid going during dinner rush- much easier to find parking after 8pm

I made my first trip to Lotus Thai after several recommendations. While walking in the decor from the tables and chairs down to the bathrooms is amazing. The service was average as the waitress seemed rather uninvolved and uninterested in helping us out with the menu. The food was OK and very resonably priced but I much prefer Rama on fourth avenue instead.
