We have eaten here for more than 20 years and we have never been dissatisfied. The service is good and the food is great. The House Special Chicken or Shrimp along with the Yang Chow Fried Rice have been a staple for us. The take-out service is very fast with no waits of greater than 15 minutes. About the only thing that is not wonderful about this restaurant is the access from Clairemont Mesa Blvd. which can be easily missed. We are disappointed once in a while because they are closed Mondays and we have to go elsewhere.

The food, service and decor are great. They do have bar, but this not a drinking establishment. There is variety for dishes offered. You can order a complete meal with appetizers, soup and main dish or la cart. The complete meals must be ordered for 2 or more people. They offer poultry, pork, beef and vegetarian dishes. The amount of food that is served can be shared. My friends and I go there and order one dish for every 2 people and share them family style. For four people the bill comes to a little over $20.00. There is a private area where friends and family can set and enjoy their meal and visit for a while. They also do a large amount of carry out food. Liz Johnson

The food here is very americanized. the menu is pretty limited and there is really no authentic dishes. There is a huge bar inside the restaurant that no one seems to use, and it is an odd fixture if you want to find some semblance of chinese authenticity (I have yet to be in a chinese restaurant that has a bar). The food wasn't very cheap either. A group of us ordered family style and paid about $20 per person. All the dishes tasted exactly the same, we could not tell them apart. The service was good though. The manager was very nice and came out several times, but I probably will not ever go back again.
