During my 6 month stay in San Diego, I went to the Cheesecake Factory 3 times. Twice were JUST for the cheesecake and once I, unfortunately, included dinner. My meal was honestly disappointing. The meal itself was overpriced and the food was bland and uninspired. Also, I went on a Tuesday night around 8 and had to wait an hour with my husband for a very cold table beside the door. In my experience, that shouldn't be a busy time. The cheesecake is to-die-for. And it's well worth picking one up on your way home from a much better, less over-rated restaurant. Cheesecake is a 5, food is a 1.

I have never been to a restaurant where there is actually advertising in the menu. Perhaps it's because the menu at Cheesecake Factory is so comprehensive. Portions are huge and the cheesecake is fabulous. Just be aware of long waits during prime time. The tables turn over quickly and there is both inside and outside seating, but it can take over an hour for a table during prime time. Reservations not accepted.

I felt that Cheesecake offered a great menu and good service. The food was great and the service was fantastic. I would definitely recommend the restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal and menu for even the pickiest of eaters. Bring the whole family and they will all be satisfied and full.

If you want to wait for a hours for a meal and have a piece of cheese cake for about $8 then come to the cheesecake factory. If you still want to come try going at an off peak hour and sometimes you can get seated right away. The menu is massive and has every food type imaginable. It could seriously take you 20 minutes just to read through the whole menu. The food is good and the servings are really large so if you are planning on having the cheesecake for dessert, which you should or else why eat there, then either share an entrée or wrap half of it up to go home. Of course the cheesecake is delicious and there are too many different flavors to name.
