Sports museum 1/13/2006

This is a pretty spectacular sports museum nestled right in Balboa Park. If you're into sports you'll definitely be in nirvana. You'll find all sorts of different sports trophies, plaques, banners, accomplishments, etc during your visit. The displays are changed quite often so each time you visit you'll see something new. The museum broadcasts the HS championship winners live on the final night and it's aired on a local tv news station. Parking can be difficult because it is Balboa Park but don't let that stop you from visiting. more

If you love Sports... 8/18/2005

The San Diego Hall of Champions offer several stories of sports paraphernalia. I’m not a big sports fan, so I didn’t find this museum interesting; however, they present many sports including football, fishing, and surfing. I believe most, if not all, of the paraphernalia of the sports teams are from San Diego. more
