This is not the place to go to get the newest boy band CD. However, if you're looking to fill out your vinyl collection, this is one of the best places in San Diego to go. They have a huge selection of older records in great condition and even some newer ones. The employees seem to love working there and are very helpful. You can almost always find what you're looking for here and at a decent price.

Any day is a good day at off the record, you are sure to find a prize record or album you have been looking for forever! Staff knows everything about every music, have a tune stuck in you head, they will be able to point you in the right directions. It's been years...but I wish they still had the SDSU location.

Off the Record has a lot of music by independent artists, from small-label rock and punk bands to hip-hop.
