Armando's is within walking distance of the Palm Avenue trolley station, right off Interstate 5 on Palm Avenue.
It is a hole in the wall, with a few tables and booths.
Their food is excellent; You must try their marinated carrots with jalape????os. Their drinks (agua fresca) are great as well.
Prices are reasonable.
The only drawback I have encounterd, is the parking, but don't let that hold you back.

This is a great local Mexican food restaurant. Their carne asada fries are great and simple, fries, cheese, meat, guacamole and that is it! Their California burritos are also great and simple as well. The food is also cheap and prepared fresh and fast. The service is great, its like family (well family you like). A must visit.
