i booked an intermediate car and when i got there i was told the only car available was a PT Cruiser ! this this has happened with me 3 times. then they do a hard sell on a better car for link 5$/day... its a rip off... also if you rent at anytime, you have to return the car half an hour BEFORE the time you rented it out!! if you book a car for 28 days and return after 20 days, they will charge you 200 bucks as they charge 10$/day if you cannot rent out the car for the full period of the reservation for the full day ... pay a few extra bucks and get a good car with better customer service from a different rental company

We needed a cab to get from the San Diego airport to our hotel, and USA cab was right outside the airport terminal. I told him we needed to go to Holiday Inn Express downtown. He asked "which one"? "there are three" (turns out there is apparently only one). I didn't have an address but told him it was 3 miles from the airport if that would help. He took us to the Holiday Inn at Bayside - driving like the devil was on his tail and talking socially on his cell phone all the while he was driving. I said I didn't think this was the correct hotel and asked him to wait while I went inside to check. He said "No, I have to get back to the airport" and proceeded to put our luggage out onto the pavement, took the fare (did not offer to make change) and raced off, leaving us to find yet another cab at 1 a.m. to take us the additional 12 blocks to the correct hotel.
