One of the best sushi restaurants in S.D.! Low-key, casual, everyday sushi place. I've been a regular there for a few years now. Staff is friendly and know me by name. Great service every time. Love the Spicy Crunchy roll and Sesame Chicken! Worth checking out :-)

The sushi here wasn't very satisfying. They were small and thin and didn't taste very authentic. Some were good thohg, such as the tempura sushi. I didn't like the environment because it felt cramped. The price is medium.

Have complete menu at reasonable prices. My wife (who is Asian) and I (American-Caucasian) have been to many Japanese reatauarants in both the US and Asia, and this one is our favorite. Our daughter, age 7, loves it, as well. Negative reviews noted, but seem grossly out of line with our experiences there.
Pros: Excellent sushi, sashima; children's menu
Cons: Service can sometimes be slow

Their japanese food is as if its imported straight from japan. They serve very delicious food. I love their noodle soups the best. It doesnt taste like ramen that you get out of a pack. Just one suprising thing about it is that they dont serve sushi.
They also have japanese comics available for you to read.

this is by far the best sushi i have ever eatten. it is aswell in an awesome location on ocean beach. i recomend the unagi maki choice roll special. it is awesome. i have turned all of my friends onto this sushi place and even those that dont like fish cannot get enough. this place is brilliant and the owner is not only talented but gorgeous.
