My husband tried this place with my son (7) for lunch. By the end of the week we were in there all together for dinner so that I could try it for myself. I immediately knew what he meant when he said is was not just good... but GOOD. If you want to just have sushi you can sit at the bar where you can watch them make it fresh for you. We sat at a booth so we could experience the other dishes they have as well. I had the Bulgogi and it was very good. I would definitely recommend this to anyone willing to try authentic Japanese cuisine at a reasonable price.

This restuarant is tucked away in the Vons plaza on Governor Drive. Surprisingly, it has pretty good sushi... it quickly became one of our favorite restaurants. It is not usually crowded, so you can get in and out pretty quickly. You can sit at the sushi bar or at the many tables/boothes. The service is usually pretty good. You can call in order to go and they are pretty good with getting your order right and having it ready quickly. They only messed up my to go order once.

This is a great place to get your sushi fix without the long wait at sit-down sushi restaurants. This place is in a mall food court, but the food tastes authentically Japanese. I like the combo sushi-salad-teriyaki bento boxes. Food here looks and tastes fresher than the nearby Panda Express.

If you love Sushimi and Sushi, I can't think of a better place to go.
I'm not an expert on Sushimi and Sushi, so this may not be the nbr 1 place for purists ..but.. for the vast majority of the rest of us, this place if GREAT.
A very informal / cafeteria type of atmosphere so not a ' fine dining 'experience ..but.. you can eat and eat and eat some more your fill of everything from Salad to Desert. ( The Creme' Brulee was an unexpected plus - though this may only be served at Dinner and not at Lunch - best to call ahead to ensure if that's something you'd enjoy).

Sushi USA is one of the best sushi restaurants I have every been. This is a small family owned restaurant that will serve you delicious fruit and edamame for an appetizer and mochi icecream for desert, all compliments of the house. Though it has a drive up window this is not a fast food restaurant. The sushi is fresh and the portions are great. The dishes are served beautifully prepared. They also serve teriyaki bowls and other Japanese dishes that are just as excellent for those who do not want sushi. I have been to almost every sushi restaurant in San Diego, and this is the one I will always come back too.

This is a great place for Korean BBQ. I love the bulgogi and the short ribs. All of the sides that they serve you really compliment the food. The service is good. I like how the grill is on your table except you walk out of there smelling like grilled food.

Dining at the Shein of Osaka in Rancho Bernarndo is an excellent experience in every facet. The service from entry to exit is attentive and timely. The sushi chefs are fun, entertaining and extremely accommodating. The food is incredible and definitely rates at the top of the charts for its quality. Frequenting this restaurant many times, it is apparent that there are many regulars that enjoy this sushi haven, some that drive from other counties to experience this sushi. Parking is not a problem as the Shien of Osaka is located in shopping center with a large parking lot. If planning a night out to this restaurant on a Friday or Saturday, plan for a bit of a wait, about 30-45 minutes, but it is well worth it.

Sushi Nippon is the best sushi bar in San Diego, i have gone to quite a few and this one ranks at the top..i came upon it by chance i was going to RA off of Broadway and they had an 1 hour wait so i walked down 4th st and remembered seeing a sushi bar near Dublin Square. I went in and was greeted as i came in the door, i sat at the bar and order a beer and hot saki right quick, i then gazed over the menu, ordered my sushi and had a pleasent conversation with a japanese guy that was sitting next to me, my sushi arrived and i was delighted by it presentation and blown away by the taste, i ordered 3 more times along with miso soup.
hands down the best in the city!
