The Sheraton is a lovely hotel to stay at if you are visiting San Diego. It is close to the airport so there is less of a rush to get to your flight. It also has a wonderful view of the city and the bay. The Sheraton is in a great location. It is near just a taxi ride away from the Gas lamp, a short walk to Little Italy, and a few blocks away from Pet-co. This is an excellent hotel for first time San Diego visitors.

We were lucky enough to win a free night at this local hotel and what a treat it was!! The location and views are wonderful. The pools are a lot of fun for the kids and the buffets are VERY scrumptious! But, most importantly - the STAFF was outstanding! Fair warning though - EVERYTHING costs money: rent a blow up toy at the pool, overnight parking and the buffet breakfast not included ...so it can easily add up to another $100 or so on top of your rate!

This Sheraton should be called a resort. It is right by the airport witha fantastic pool, spa, gym etc. There are two towers that are basically two different hotels, so be careful which one you make your reservation at. Almost all of the rooms ahve a view of the bay. This hotel is perfect for a short weekend getway or a longer trip if you have a car with you.

I was here in September 2007 for a conference and brought my family with me. Since I have three young children, I loved that the hotel was across the street from the San Diego airport-it was very easy to get to and from the hotel from the airport. It honestly didn't feel like we were across from the airport in that the hotel is also nestled in a harbor. Our room was nice and was very clean. There was a small balcony with a couple of patio chairs and a small table. The hotel itself was modern and clean. There is a good restaurant there and also a coffee bar. The pool was also nice as was the exercise facility. The hotel is in good proximity to Horton Plaza as well as some other San Diego attractions. I honestly can not say if the hotel is a good value b/c my employer paid for the hotel and I don't recall how expensive it was (I *think* our conference rate was $159/night). If I am in the area, I would definitely stay there again.

The Sheraton West Tower had some really great food. They have something for everyone, even all of those picky eaters. You must try this place for your self!
