The only reason I used A Better Yard Service was because my Lawn mower broke down and I had a huge amount of giant weeds in my backyard. Plus my lawn mower would just die when I would try to cut them down.
So instead of hiring a kid to do it I hired A Better Yard Service. And they really are A Better Yard Service. I was amazed at what they did. My backyard actually looked like a backyard. They mowed the yard , cut weeds. And on the dirt part of my backyard where nothing but weeds grow they put grass seed. Very professional. After all the gardening my patio looked diry with grass..well not for long! they made it sparkly clean. And my guinea pigs in their cage didn't get wet or hit by weeds being flown by machines.
I love this gardening service. Good prices too. If I were rich I would have them do it for me all the time.

While on the generally more expensive side, renting at Valentia Apartments is still very appealing. The floor plan that particularly caught my attention is the three bedroom with loft. The mater bedroom is amazing, with vaulted ceilings and luxury bathrooms that boast a jacuzzi tub in addition to a shower and two sinks. This is dream living as far as apartments go!

I have only seen the traveling version of this store, when the owner set up a stand at a UCSD Library Walk vendor fair, so I am not sure if there is an actual permanent store front. However, I already like what I have seen. The products range from colourfully wire wall hooks, shaped on painted metal shapes like the single hook fish I brought home with me, to cute picture frames in the shape of little surfboards. I'm hoping to see them again soon!

I happy to report that my drain clog was accurately identified and the problem was fixed quickly with no mess left behind. These guys charged exactly what they said they would and I really trusted the plumber. I had other plumbing companies come to my house before, but it was never this easy and I will always use Bill Howe in the future.

The quality of the work is what you would find in an architectural magazine.

It's getting more and more difficult to find a retailer who sells watch batteries, let alone installs them. House of Clocks does both! Installation does not cost extra, and unless the watch has a particularly complicated back to remove, they can do this service while you wait. Batteries are cheap and run about $5.50 with tax. In addition to this, they also repair clocks of all kinds. I had an older antique clock that had stopped running, and House of Clocks had my clock fixed and back to me in three days.

I would highly recommend Susie's Pet Clipet!!! Susie has been grooming my dog, Maude for the last 7-8 years and Maude always comes back looking beautiful and smelling great with a pretty bow. Susie also clips her and Maude looks like a baby lamb!!!
Susie's shop seems small to me, but, she has space to hold quite a few dogs and cats to be groomed. She has an assistant her helps her on her busy days. She is a dog lover, having 2 dogs of her own. I am so glad to have found Susie!!!

Mr tam Huynh is a wonderful gardening specialist. We moved to the poway area and he has been great. he comes on time every other wednesday to cut our grass, blow the leaves, trim bushes etc. He charges only $35 for twice a month service and it is exceptional. he is thorough and hard working.
Oh and our yard is fairly big for CA standards so the $35 is a bargain!
