I recently purchased two beautiful chest of drawers from Plummers. The salesman David was very helpful. He even took my order over the phone as I had to go home and take measurements once I had the dimensions of the dressers. However, I was told that the delivery time could be between something like 10am and 5pm. I set the date for delivery and was told that the delivery person would contact me to set up a time that would work for me. When the delivery person contacted me, he stated that the delivery time was set for between noon and 1. I then stated that the hours of between 4 and 5 would work for me because I work during the day. He then stated rudely that he "wasn't going to be out til 5" and that I should reschedule for another day. I'm sorry, is my pesky request that you perform the service for which I have paid and inconvenience to you? So now I am stuck waiting until this mover guy can squeeze me into his schedule. I didn't pay to be treated like this and what is the point of wasting my time setting up a scheduled delivery date. I am hating this experience and because of this delivery person I will never again shop with Plummers and will direct everyone I know to do the same. Until they get a delivery service that provides better customer service I'm done with Plummers.

This store carries good contemporary style furniture at a good price. While it is more expensive than IKEA, the furniture here reflects much better quality than store such as IKEA. Most of the furniture here are european inspired, and there are some pretty interesting designs. Overall, the furniture is not too "stuffy" and not too modern, it's a good balance of both. Prices are mid-range, and may tend towards the expensive side, depending on your view point, but the quality is much better, and the design does not go out of style.
