Daphnes Greek Cafe to me is one of the best greek food restraunts I have been to. I go there atleast once a month with my family. I really enjoy their Greek Side Salad with spicy chicken. I would recomend this to all greek food lovers.

This little gem is often unknown, even though it has won awards for the best Greek food in SD, from readers’ choice I believe (the awards hang on the walls). The chef has been there for over ten years, keeping the food consistently fantastic, and yet the prices have remained beyond reasonable. Some of the Greek wines are fantastic, as is the Greek coffee, and everything on the menu is a sure-fire treat. The swordfish is especially amazing, as is the chicken couscous, and even the spanaki salata (spinach dip) is impossible to reproduce, and remains the best I’ve found. Furthermore, the staff is particularly attentive and professional, and the ambience is very bright, casual, and fun, with Greek music pumping into the dining rooms and keeping the mood light. A GREAT place for vegetarians, and even vegans, as many of the dishes can be adjusted for different diets (this is one of the few places my friend with celiac’s sprue can safely eat). Also, the outdoor seating on a summer evening is the height of a pleasant dinner in Pacific Beach. I can’t recommend Athena highly enough.
Pros: great for vegetarians and meat-eaters alike

I would have to agree with the rest of the reviews for Exy here, I went for dinner last week with my girlfriend and we were both very impressed. The decor and ambience is very nice and sleek and the service was excellent. The food was the greatest highlight though, I had the lamb which was superb we had the flaming appetiser to start, which I forget the name of but was also great. We will definately be returning again soon and will be recommending this spot to our friends!

For a great meal at an affordable price, Dino's hits the spot. Located in the middle of the Clairemont Town Square, Dino's is convient and parking is rarely a problem. The food is delicious! My family and I always order the Gyros Family Pack, priced at $18.99. The meal includes enough gyro for at least 4 people (we usually have left-overs), a large greek salad topped with greek olives and feta, a choice between greek fries (our favorite) or rice pilaf, and 4 pitas. We have never left unsatisfied (or hungry!). I highly recommend this place!!

This family-owned Greek restaurant in a mini-mall at the busy intersection of University and Texas doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't be dissuaded. The food has been wonderful everytime I've been -- and quite affordable. I've had gyros, fallafel, spanakopita and baklava -- and have never been disappointed. They also serve breakfast at quite reasonable prices -- and there wasn't a long wait.

Great food! My only complaint is that there are not more of them. I asked them many years ago if they would build one in Temecula and they said there were thinking about it. But they never did. Sad because their food is delicious and there is a lot of it!
