Placed perfectly in the residential community, this place is always crowded with home owners looking for any home improvement items. I like the coffee tables & the little wooden carvings which will give a aesthetic look into your living room. Prices are reasonable on some of the items. But with price comes great quality.

Scot and the gang put on a party the was absolutely the best party I could have ever imagined!!!! Everyone did a better than great job and my wife, daughter and I were so pleased with the outcome!!!! Scott has been doing Mackenna's birthday for year and we will continue to use him in the future. IT WAS THE BEST!!!!!! We loved the night club idea and the "Mackenna Bucks". Scott was also fantastic as the D.J. The girls did much more than was expected of them and we really appreciated their help!

This spooky haunted house is nestled in the historic part of Old Town. Old Town is fun enough to visit on it's own but adding the Whaley house just makes it better.
The Whaley house can be quite hokey but at any given time during the week you'll find classes of school kids taking the tour. It's an old tradition that even I remember doing.
The place is quite haunted and if you get too scared you can walk down the path and grab a bite to it.

Definitely a nexus of strange and interesting energies. Despite the flurry of tourists on weekends, and all the ghost tours and hype, my money is still on the Whaley House as being on genuinely haunted grounds. Catch a whiff of the sweet perfume drifting over the night air - flowers or scent of a female ghost? You decide... Pull your digital camera out of your pack and snap a few pix late at night in the back garden behind the great old house when all the air is solemnly still - you never know what you'll catch... mists, odd lights... And even if you're a skeptic, you'll have fun meeting other mere mortals on the dark grounds... Or take a walk around Old Town, feel the sensations, atmosphere, music, sights and sounds... grab a bite to eat in one of the many local cantinas or grills. Thumbs up to this historical place, especially for the ambience!

Wave House is a great little amusement park set right on the beach front. I'd recommend going more for the view and atmosphere than for the actual "amusement" offered. The amusement park itself is small and the rides are pretty well antiquated. However, the whole atmosphere does give you a nostalgic feeling, though the prices for the rides won't. I find it more fun to get something from one of the food vendors and just people watch for the afternoon. It's a nice location, and offers a great view of the ocean.

One of the best places to cool off in San Diego is the ice skating rink Ice Town at the Westfield Shopping Mall in University City. It's something fun to do with friends or fun to just watch as people of differing experience levels glide across the ice. A full food court above offers the chance to eat and watch the skaters.

The USS Midway museum offers civilians a unique look at how sailors live. The cost of admission is a bit high, but the price includes a set of headphones that gives you information along the tour. You can see lots of different spaces, including the berthing area and the bridge. Very informative and a lot of fun. Not recommended for small children, handicapped persons or elderly people that may have difficutly navigating steep ladders and small passageways. Definitely a great place to stop and soak in some important naval history in San Diego.

This theater is a treat to visit. While it does not have the plush stadium seating of some theaters, it was very friendly staff and super movie specials. They have a "parent" movie once a month that is geared towards parents and toddlers. They also have popcorn and drink specials on select nights and lots of other bargins. There is nice seating in the cafe/snack bar area, so you can grab a bit to eat before of after the movie. The best part is parking is a breeze and you don't have to fight the crowds at other malls. Or, if you prefer to take the trolley, there is a stop right across the street (Hazard Center Stop)
