My 6 year old daughter has seen dr. Mubarak for an ongoing problem since she was about 3 or so. His office staff is caring, and dr. Mubarak is good with kids. He seems knowledgable about my daughter's problem, but when he had questions about it, he admitted not knowing all the answers. The next time we visited, he had more new information, and had taken the time to do some research.

I saw Dr. Laura Stadtmore at the Colony Veterinary Clinic with my 2 kitties. The clinic is very clean, the assistants are friendly, patient and very helpful.
Dr. Laura Stadtmore was great. She took a lot of time to answer all questions, was very good and careful in handling my kitties and very knowledgeable. I can highly recommend this clinic.

Dr. Cohen performed surgery on my daughters hands and I felt he did a really good job. I was more concerned about the time he actually spent with us before the procedure. We visited him for presurgery consultations about three times and probably saw him for a total of 15 minutes. We spent more time with the nurses. The procedure was quick and healed nicely.

Doctor Jasime is super nice. She's very down to earth, friendly, and appears to be skilled in her profession. She is very relatable since she also once had terrible vision. This place is fairly large. Many rooms and a big reception area. There's a big waiting room with a lot of reading material. The establishment is overall very nice. The desk people are very helpful. I noticed that the multiple times I was there, the receptionists and assistances were bilingual in different langauges.
PROS: Good doctor, Helpful desk, Big waiting room.
CONS: None.

This is where I got my first set of glasses and where I go every year for a new prescription. They have two locations: one in Scripps Ranch and one on University Ave. Workers go back and forth because I've seen them at both places. Very nice people. He tries to get to know you and remember you so that it's not awkward and so you feel comfortable. I feel that this place is expensive without insurance, but their glasses and contacts range from all prices; low and high. It just depends on how nice you want them to be.

This opthamology practice in Hillcrest is very well organized and patient-friendly. Dr. Michael Couris is very helpful and thorough although you will need to call a month or so in advance to get your appointment. They accept VSP insurance which is good, and he will help you get the contacts or glasses that fit within the price that the insurance company will pay for. They also do LASIK surgery.
PROS: Nice, knowledgable staff
CONS: Parking is difficult in Hillcrest

willing to work with the patient to find the best options of treatment. I recommend my friends and coworkers to Dr. Pulsipher. I took my oldest here and now my youngest; and I would have never come back if it wasn’t a good experience for my child.

I have been seeing Dr. Hicks between 5-10 years now and have nothing but good things to say about him. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field and also, extremely popular in San Diego. He is appointment book fills up fast.
Unfortunately, because of his popularity, I'm not able to utilize him for pschotherapy, so I usually go for med checks for my aniexty and depression every six months or so. I've been able at times to get med. samples from him and he can give me referrals for therapists when I need one. Dr. Hicks accepts Blue Cross among other HMO plans.
Dr. Hicks is located in the heart of Hillcrest San Diego and there is a large parking structure to park in. Parking is validated at your appointment.
