If you haven't indulged yourself in Mama's chicken shwarma, you haven't tasted authentic Lebanese cuisine! Mama's Bakery and Deli is home to the only "Saj" in San Diego. The Saj is a special convex oven that allows the cooks to recreate the true taste experience of Lebanon. If you have a weakness for deserts, they also have the best baklava in town. I would recommend Mama's for lunch or an early dinner (they are a family run restaurant, and they don't stay open late). Happy eating!

Good lebanese food for a good price. A very "unique" atmosphere, but it's one of those hole in the wall place where you won't know about it unless someone tell you to go there, or you were brought there by a friend. The baklava is great, although pricey. They seem to have bought the baklava from another place, but I have no idea where.. they are tastier than the ones from Costco though. All their wraps are great, I am not sure about the meat pie though.
