I was referred to SDMCU over five years ago by a friend and have been nothing but satisfied with their service. I find the requirements to open checking account are more reasonable than a mainstream bank like Bank of America. They seem to offer competitive rates with their loans and CDs, IRA's. I don't know much about investing in these types of savings accounts, but, their employees are very knowledgeable and give sound suggestions. The tellers always remember my name and that really makes a difference when it comes to the competition.
