  • Great Salads and Strong Coffee

    Rating:

It's a Grind has a huge food menu, which is rare to find at coffee house, especially a local one with more limited resources and revenue. Their sandwiches aren't that great, and I'd recommend opting for one of their salads instead. They offer a huge variety of homemade salad dressings that include delicious fat-free options. The grilled chicken casear is always fresh, and the parmesan cheese grated on top is not pre-packaged parmesan, but fresh parmesan grated while your salad is being prepraed. The coffee is stong and reasonably priced. I've found that the flavored coffees aren't very bold, so I recommend getting black and sweetening it as you wish with cream and sugar.

  • Starbucks is better -- and cheaper

    Rating:

With a menu comparable to starbucks, plus more food items, it does not equal the quality of starbucks. Though i have never had the food, the drinks are not a flavorful, and are very expensive. The only plus for me is that it is next to my high-school. The staff has a bit of snobbish "we are better then you" attitude, and are not very friendly. The blended drinks are often "foamy", occupying most of the cup. Every once in a while, they taste watered down. I have stopped going there, finally.

I would avoid it if you could and go down the street to the starbucks inside Albertsons.
