Perfection to the last spoon-warm and friendly service 'till the end...experiences like these are hard to find in oriental place, but I've found them here. Introduced by a co-worker couple years ago, and now I'm hooked. The prices are very reasonable average at $6.00. I especially like their grilled chicken over rice. For appetizer, I like their shrimp paste wrapped with bean curd. Highly recommend Pho Ca Dao to all. Pros: Best Egg Rolls in Town Cons: 12 Miles a Way

I love this place despite the fact that some of the waiters suck at english =). I always have to point at the menu to show them what I want to order. But their decor is cute..very modern. The pho is CRACKIN'! I love the broth, the noodles, the meat, the temperature they give it to me at, EVERYTHING! And since I was a student on a budget, their prices are awesome. I was so used to eating pho in OC, but when I tried it here, I was totally not disappointed. Their medium is considered a large in the OC pho restaurants. Last but not least, this place is super clean. I love you Pho Ca Dao! =]

The most ridiculous thing is, even I asked for them to bring me the bill, they arrogantly asked me to pay at the front desk myself, even when there are many waiters having nothing to do and just wandering at the time. I will never go there again, and will ask every friend of mine Not to.

The broth was delicious and the rare steak was plentiful and cooked nicely in the broth. My non-Vietnamese friend also agreed the pho here was the best he's had. They're doing something right cuz I always see it packed. I haven't tried any other stuff there so I'm only going on the pho.

Pho search is over! My bf had to do fair share of research to find this place. We both really like pho, which is weird with me being Korean and him being Hapa, with no Vietnamese blood between us. We have tried numerous Pho joints and have paid our dues before and after finding Pho ca dao, and we keep on coming back here. This is THE PHO place in the SD. The broth is perfect, not too beefy and not too salty, and people here are very friendly.
