We read about Pappalecco in the Union Tribune on Thursday and it sounded so inviting that we went there late Friday morning. The sandwiches are awesome (they'll be adding breakfast sandwiches soon); fresh panino, top of the line fresh ingredients, absolutely wonderful. I had iced tea, and you can have the traditional Lipton or you can choose from their selection of 6 various teas. I chose the green tea and it was perfectly brewed and icy cold...and freshly made. Even though it was late morning, we couldn't resist the gelato. The choices were almost staggering. I had 1/2 cantaloupe and 1/2 watermelon; very light, refreshing, not too sweet. My husband had the chocolate-hazelnut....oh, my oh my, what a treat! I can't wait to go back. It's perfection! I can't wait for the blog to be up and running. Pros: Food, service, ambience

This is a fun ice cream shop that is located near the heart of San Carlos. Especially now in the summer heat. Their ice cream is high quality and very good. They have great service and it is a great place to hang out and have ice cream. I love it.
