Aaron Brothers Art & Framing is an Art supply store as well as Framing Specialist. You will find Art supplies (sketching pencils to paint Air Guns) and tons and tons of frames. The frame costs are pretty cheap , about 7-50 for 8X10 frames. These frames are really nice and much much better then frames at the local 99cent store. They also have very cheap electronic frames in which you can transmit pictures to from a computer.

This is a family owned business that does great work for cheap prices. My family has dealt with this company for years. They are nice people and good at what they do. They recenly fixed our heater which didn't work at all for practically nothing. Thanks!!

This is the kind of place that makes you glad you live in San Diego. Charlie, the owner, takes a real interest in his customer's comfort. The store not only carries top cigar brands like Punch, Davidoff and Arturo Fuente, but unbranded seconds of H. Upmann and La Flor Dominicana. There are cigars from 99 cents up to $30. Since they are strictly a tobacco shop, you can smoke in the store. They have several leather couches, a widescreen projection television, refreshments and more. They carry a full line of pipes, humidors and such.

Home Brew Mart is one of the catalysts that got me turned on to home beer brewing. This store is connected to the Ballast Point Brewing Company, which supplies San Diego with some of the finest micro brewed beer in the county. They are know for their Yellowtail Ale, and Marlin Porter. The ingredients they sell are the same ones they use to brew with. They carry Wyeast and White Labs pitchable liquid yeast, and Munton's extract if you do extract brewing. A good selection of grains (munich, crystal malt) and more. If you are a beginner they have tons of startup kits under $80 that can get you going.

The Ocean Beach farmer's market happens every Wendesday night. The best part is that it's year round, so there is a great rotation of local crops available. The market has expanded to include crafts and art items as well, but the focus is on fabulous fruits and vegetables and fresh flowers. I particularly like Hidalgo flowers, which are on the south side of the street with the big white truck. There is live music at the Newport/Bacon intersection and also a llama jumpy and llama rides for the kids. Highly recommended. Shop the market and they stay in OB for dinner. Tis a great way to spend a Wednesday!

This is a great setting for a small garden wedding and a reception. This is the club house for a local womens philanthropy organization. They rent out their facility for weddings. We got married here a few years ago and had a great experience. The garden area will accomodate up to 120 guests. The intimate feeling of a house is a lot more personal than some of these sprawling ballrooms. Worth checking out.

I visited San Diego last year and ofcourse planned a trip to the "World Famous" zoo. I'm glad I did. We started at 8am and did not finish until 530pm. I dont know if we even saw everything. We didn't take any organized tours, we just walked the park ourselves. We had a great lunch at the restaurant. It reminded me of a tree house. One of my favorite exhibits was the koala bear exhibit. They are so cute and very lazy. The whole exhibit is a deck and its eye level with the tree tops so you can see them. Alot of the exhibits made me feel like I was alot closer to the animals than I actually was. The bird exhibit was great too. I dont want to give away all the details. The San Diego Zoo is a must see!
