I was in search of something Specific and had been to 2 bookstores already. So I decided To make some calls. I called Bookstar and a very friendly person answered the phone and went out of his way to find exactly what i wanted. I never felt like he was rushing to get me off of the phone. He was very pleasant, so was the other person he questioned that was working with him. They took the time to give me all the attention I wanted then Held my book for me till i could go and pick it up!

Even though it is part of the Barnes and Noble chain, the Bookstar in the La Jolla Golden Triangle is very much the friendly neighborhood bookstore. The employees are always helpful, and I can almost always find the book for which I am searching. There are also fun little trinkets other than books that make perfect gifts.
