Adams Avenue Bicycle has been a constant since I have been in San Diego and a trustworthy shop for all of my bikes service needs. From regular tune-ups to upgrading parts I have had nothing but a friendly and fair experience. Above and beyond that they are big supporters at the San Diego Velodrome in Balboa Park and helping to keep alive (in this country anyway) the wonderful sport of track racing! Be sure to stop by even just to say hello, you will love the feel of the shop as well as all the kind folks! In a world of Wal-Mart like conglomerates, it is refreshing to have a neighborhood shop like this around!

I love this shop. I always go here to buy the small stuff, as well as to chat with the guys who run it. It's a very down to earth place, and I never leave there without more information than I needed! Always love to support the local shops. Their inventory is pretty small (tiny space) but if you need something they don't have, they will order it. They focus in Specialized and Bianchi.

I have had multiple experiences with this shop, and everyone of them has been amazing. From my first purchase of a few tubes to the fitting for a road bike, they have never left me feeling ignored, tried to sell me something I didn't need, or not followed up after a big purchase. If you need anything for your bike, head to this store. The only downside to the shop is their small inventory (pretty new company, and in a small space), so you will have to wait if you need something they don't have in stock (although not too long!)
