"Who Rocks the Fries? The Belgian Frie!!!" February 18, 2008 - This is my new favorite spot in San Diego! The fries are perfect, just enough texture on the outside to compliment the flaky goodness on the inside. My favorite dishes are the fries rancheros, the fries benedict, and if you like waffles, skip the IHOP or Kono's and get a plate full of luscious, Belgian-waffle decadence! Like fruit? Chocolate? How about healthy? This restaurant literally has something for everyone. The staff is friendly and attentive, and i've never left the place without multiple smiles and goodbyes. I've traveled to Europe a couple of times, and you can't get any more authentic cuisine than at this frite shop. The decor, the friendly, welcoming atmosphere, and the food all shout authenticity! The owners of this place are really onto something, and I hope I see this place do well enough to branch out. Support your local businesses ya'll! Do your part to keep this hidden gem thriving in our fine city!
