We held a charity event at the Point Loma Bar and Grill this weekend. 9/26. I can't even begin to tell you how cool this place was to our group. PLBG set up our Beer Pong, donated great gifts, provided outstanding service, ensured we had a clean environment, with very friendly staff and to top it off they had TONS OF PARKING!!! I can't think of anywhere better then this place to host an event...
Point Loma Bar and Grill is professional, thoughtful, and they go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Our charity raised lots of money for the Breast Cancer walk and people that were at the bar and not even a part of our crew participated and donated. The vibe was awesome and the guy who helped us all night (Joe) was fantastic. Joe made sure we were treated like family and we are soooo grateful. The event was in honor of my mom and to raise money. Thanks to Joe's help we had a great night. We will be back.... I will gladly tell everyone I know about this place. GREAT JOB Point Loma Bar and Grill!!!!! As for Joe... YOU ROCK!!!!

Originally we started frequenting the AC Lounge because it's in stumbling distance, however after revisting a lot of my old favorites in San Diego i've come to appreciate the AC Lounge on a whole new level. The music is always infectious, the staff always friendly and the drinks always strong.
when you want the vibe of the turf club and the option of tearin it up on the dancefloor....the ac lounge is the only way to go.

San Diego has waited a long time for a restaurant like this. I would ignore the few mediocre ratings posted by others. It's evident by their posts they aren't used to dining in a fine dining establishment. In some ways this restaurant is above and beyond what most individuals in San Diego are familiar with. I lived there from 1997-2004, and am very familiar with the options. This experience is very similar to dining at a restaurant in NYC, London, Vegas, or San Francisco. Fine dining is about impeccable service, quality over quantity, and expert wines. This restaurant has all of those. The food was presented beautifully and was delicious. The staff were friendly and professional. We travel to Napa every October and are very familiar with wines and were very impressed with the selection. They has several of our favorites. I'd actually say compared to the French Laundry which we ate at last year, this restaurant has better service, better quality food, and is less costly. We had the tasting menu with wine pairing which came to around $300, while our tasting menu at the French Laundry was $800! Definitely worth it if you have the income. If you are on a budget and looking for large portions, I agree, try Cheesecake factory. I would pay this price for ambiance and food any day over the mediocre restaurants in the Gaslamp.

I took my boyfriend to this restaurant for his birthday and we had a blast. The staff was very friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in the door. They have very fun drink names! Also, September is Half off California Bottles of wine! Fantastic! So when you order you pick your steak or what you want to eat and then you grill it yourself. This sounds funny, but it is so much fun! You get to stand around the grilll and drink and talk with your friends. Also, the price of the steaks are a little cheaper. Each entree also comes with salad and garlic bread! Amazing place!

Finally, a fun and classy place in San Diego! I have been to Anthology a few times and each time it proves to be a truly unforgettable experience. The music is always great and the sound system is the best I have ever heard. The decor is very chic and elegant and the food is consistently delicious! I can't wait to go back!

This is located on Harbor drive with a fantastic view of the bay. They are a great menu with fabulous drinks. I highly recommend going for happy hour. They have great prices and a great happy hour menu.
