Ok, dessert fans, if you go to San Diego, be sure to try this place, and be ready to wait in line. I had the breading pudding with ice cream off their special menu, that was DA DOMB!!! I dont' remember what my friends ordered, but they are pretty good too. Who need to go to bars or clubs, this is the place to go after dinner! I heard they used to have a location in SF, but it was closed down. Not sure what happened.

I never thought I would stand in line 45 minutes for dessert on a weekend night, but that is not uncommon at this fabulous uptown fine bakery. Great assortment of teas, Scharfenberg chocolates and tea accessories. Beautiful cakes in the refrigerator case will tempt even those without a sweet tooth. Our favorite is the gianduia. You can also speacial order cake for birthdays, weddings, etc.

Extraordinary Desserts is one of the first places I visited when I moved to San Diego based on numerous rave reviews. It did not disappoint. The lines are often long to get in, especially on weekends, but it is worth the wait! There are so many excellent treats that it's hard to pick one. My husband and I have split a slice of cake on several occasions because the pieces are fairly large and often quite rich. To me it's worth the $7-8/slice. If you can score an outside table it's really nice to sit with friends to chat and enjoy the surroundings. The inside booths are cozy and actually can be fun for people watching. I highly recommend Extraordinary Desserts!

This is a great cute little place if you are big dessert fan. The place is desserts only and is extremely popular and a great place to visit and hang out with friends. There are tons of different cakes and desserts offered and all of them look absolutely delectable. The major downside is that this place is small. It's hard to find a table to fit all your friends. And because it is so popular, it is also very crowded and the wait can be long. However, I definitely recommend trying the place out just to have the experience. The chocolate cakes are extremely rich and delicious.

This is one of my favorite spots in San Diego. I've been going here so long, I remember when the lines didn't stretch out the door and around the corner. I haven't been to the new location in Little Italy yet, but I can't imagine that the level of perfection would be any less. I can't rave about this place enough. The pastries are so good, the word sinful comes to mind. Forget the wine and cheese bar. Head here for the perfect end to a great date or a night at the theatre. You won't regret it.

Well, Extraordinary Desserts offer you just that, the best dessert anywhere! The desserts are really rich, so you'd probably get full just eating dessert. The proprietor made the desserts from inspirations from other cultures, so you'll see the shelves of Extraordinary Desserts stocked with sitting buddhas or granite bowls, which really just completes the great atmosphere to enjoy the dessert. If you haven't been here before, then you really need to try it out. You won't leave disappointed.
