If you are from the Rio Grande Valley, then you should know that no one can function without a heavy dose of morning tacos. I have found that this place has some of the best. NOt only do they use homemade ingredients but they are HUGE! One taco measures close to one foot long and the price is a steal at only a little over 2 dollars.

I had recently noitced my front tires were low and I needed to get some new tires. I went to the shop expecting outrageous prices boy was I wrong. They have a great deal and package. The tires range from brand and quality. I purchased 2 new tires at an amazing price. The guys that work their are nice and informative. The store was clean, nice and orgainized. I would recommend them to anyone in need of new tires. The location and parking was neither a problem.

So you are looking for a great Mexican food restaurant while visiting San Benito, Texas. Even though the town may not see like it has much to offer you may want to visit our local Tico's. Here you will find wonderful food at reasonable prices. Whether you are in the mood for a taco or a thick steak there is truly something here for everyone. Live entertainment is provided every Friday night by a local keyboardist. It is a wonderful place for families anytime of the day. Parking may be a bit tight but once you are in it is all worth the wait.

The Blue Marlin Restaurant is a seafood restuarant the lies right in between Harlingen and San Benito on Bus Hwy 77. The restaurants food is actually pretty good, the chips and salsa that they give you while you wait is usually warm and pretty awesome. The only thing that I have a problem with is the wait staff. They are the most unfriendly wait staff around in the area. I eat out alot and although they do their job, they hardly ever make you feel welcome. If it wasn't for the afordable prices that they offer for the seafood, this place would probably loose alot of business because of this. Once I walked in somewhat late in the evening when no one was there except for a few customers already eating. We noticed a "senior winter texan" couple standing around and so we decided to see if we could find a table. The waitress rudely told my fiancee that they were seating a big party and that they were probably not going to be able to help us. This made us mad because their whole party wasn't even there yet nor had they been seated (seating here is on your own by the way). And another thing isn't it a sign of good management to be able to handle big parties (10 people or so) and smaller parties (2 people) at the same time, I mean it is a big place. All the other times we have had that same waitress or any other waitress for that matter we have had lousy and slow service. Like I said....the food is really good.

This is a really unique barbecue and steak restaurant. They have cows in the back that you can go see while your food is being prepared. Most meals contain a central beef item with a serving of lays potato chips. The beans that are complimentary appetizers are really some of my favorite. My only complaint about this restaurant is the heat. The restaurant is essentially a barn/warehouse. It can get very hot in one of the rooms that has this huge oven. There is no type of air conditioning besides the large open windows and small ceiling fans.

I love the service, love the food and the prices aren't bad either. Their menu isn't much different from most Valley Mexican restaurants but they do a great job regardless.
In particular I love their caldo de camarones and so far would say its the best I've had in the Valley!
