My husband rented a room for 2 nights. Just horrible. Very dirty. 179.99 a night. They also charge 10.00 per night for parking. The elevator smells like smoke. Very nasty. The porch had webs. The towels and bedding looked very nasty. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE. JUST HORRIBLE It is on the river walk. But you would have to walk a mile to get to any thing. Very small room that is very scary. They do not have a pool. The place had old pictures of people every where. This was the worst experiance of my life. I will not be back

I found what I thought was the PERFECT anniversary gift for my husband. A "garden suite" in a darling hotel on the San Antonio riverwalk. The price was a little steep $854 for 2 nights, but it was our 15th anniversary, so I splurged. It was a NIGHTMARE! There is no valet, very little parking and you have to drag your luggage up 2 flights of concrete steps to get into the hotel. The elevator is hung with ancient dust filled rugs. My husband's allergies kicked in as soon as we entered the elevator. The "SUITE" was nothing but sweet. There was no television in the "suite", room for only 1 person on the "couch". The bed was made with a lumpy, filthy quilt, and the windows overlooked a wall..no garden in sight. The bathroom was filthy as well. Thank goodness for the Marriot. They saved my anniversary. We were in The Havanna for about 15 minutes--it was 15 minutes too long. DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL!!!

Although the name indicates that the Havana Riverwalk Inn is located so that you'd have easy access to the riverwalk, it is actually located pretty far away from the tourist section of the riverwalk...

Although the name indicates that the Havana Riverwalk Inn is located so that you'd have easy access to the riverwalk, it is actually located pretty far away from the tourist section of the riverwalk on Navarro Street. The Havana is not close enough to walk downtown, The Inn is quite pricey (more than $240 for the king deluxe) and in my opinion, certainly not worth that price. The room was filthy. There was dust build-up on the air vents and mold and dirt on the ceiling in the bathroom. The bathroom was extremely small. Numerous lightbulbs were burned out and not replaced. The towels were threadbare and the pillows made of foam (not feathers). .The wireless internet connection did not work in our room. When I complained to the front desk, I was simply told that no one else made these complaints before. There is no valet parking and no parking validation. (Parking was an additional $10.00).
