The other day at a children's party, I recognized the balloon artist. I always knew she was great with children (she was a life-guard at our community pool). She was always very nice to my children. 2 yrs later, I see her at this children's party making balloon animals. Again, being very nice to all the children wanting her attention.
I was extremely impressed on her talent! I joked with her that I wanted the Spurs Coyote... she made it! She does it very quickly. She's the best balloon artist I've ever seen... and she's FAST!
She has a gallery of pictures of the few things she can make from balloons. Check out their website!
The rates seem reasonable, definitely worth her talent and great personality.

Little Gym is a nice place for kids (ages infant to 12 yrs) to go for play, parties and to learn in various classes. They offer classes in gymnastics, karate, sports skills and more for ages 3-12. There are parent/child classes for infants & toddlers. Teaches children coordination, balance, rhythm & flexibility. The prices were a bit high for a semester and you can't pay for each class as you attend.
Also great for parties.

This studio is wonderful. I have been taking classes for 3 months now and have been telling all my friends about it. The classes are small and the teachers are great, you never feel like you do not understand what is going on. I have been very happy with all my pottery and plan on taking a lot more classes. The owner teaches wheel and handbuilding. She teaches adults and children. She has you feeling like a family when you are at the studio. Her prices for firing and glazing are wonderful and her class prices can not be beat. If you are looking for a creative outlet then you need to check out Sunin Clay Studio.

I'm not trying to dog on St. Philips or the professors (teachers?) there or anything, but this school is way to easy. I go to a State University, and decided to take summer school in my home town. Since I lived closest to St. Philips, I chose that over SAC. What a big mistake. Half of my friends went to SAC for the summer while the other half went to St. Philips. I wouldn't have mind the extra 10 minute drive to SAC if I knew that the quality of eduction here was this bad. I took state government, and basically all the teacher did all day was read off of the weekly tests he gives us.

This school is a good school if you want your child in private school. The classes are small and the administration knows all the students by face or name. The staff is dedicated in making sure the students recieve a good quality education. The school also offers a wide range of extracurriculars through the CYO and through the school itself. I would suggest looking into the school and seeing if it is the school for you.

It's not the best waterpark, but it's definitely a lot more affordable to go to than some, especially if you're finances can be tight. They have an area for toddlers too, which was a huge plus. Make sure to check prices out around town for discounts, I found a great deal through HEB. It's a lot of fun for half the price.

I just wanted to say thank you, I went into this class not knowing what to expect. All I knew is that I wanted to feel comfortable on a motorcycle. Being in a class of those who had no previous experience and a couple who were there to refresh their riding skills, we all learned at the same pace. It was fun and informative. Our instructor was witty and informative, he had his own style and manner of teaching that made you feel comfortable. All motorcycles were ready for us to start riding at the range the first day with no problems. I took this course on a wednesday & thursday and went to DPS on friday to take the written test, since it was fresh on my mind and I passed. I just got my CM license, it was worth it. I recommend all those who are wanting to ride a motorcycle to take a basic riding course for your safety and for the insurance discount. You get your money's worth. I recommend Southwest Motorcycle Training because they are good people that want to help and they are the least expensive in San Antonio.
Pros: Easy to find, plenty of parking space, If you need a snack during break sessions they have plenty of snacks and drinks to buy
