Like others who have written about Precision Chiropractic, I got sucked into "the plan" and was told by the office manager that my health insurance did not cover it, so I would need to pay around $3000 up front to cover the costs of it. I did so, thinking everything was taken care of, only to find out that they were billing my health insurance as well and my insurance was covering it! In essence, they were getting paid *double* and had lied to me about my insurance covering it. The other issue I had with this approach to chiropractic care was that, every now and then in my few months with Precision, I had to take a written "test" to see how well I had bought into the benefits of chiropractic care. It was a little weird to me that they would give their patients a written test. Overall, I think Dr. Mike believes that what he is doing is beneficial to his patients. He's very zealous about his practice, but like others who have reviewed this busness, I feel he is taking advantage of his clients and that he approaches chiropractic care as if he's selling used cars. I would definitely not recommend Precision Chiropractic.

I'm not sure exactly where these bad reviews are coming from... My family and I have been going to Precision Chiropractic for about three years now, since autumn 2003, and we've been very pleased with the care we've recieved. In the beginning we were worried about it costing too much, as we'd been to a few other chiropractors that had surprised us with a large bill. However, Dr. Mike went out of his way to make this something we could afford. He told me that chiropractic care should be available to everyone, not just the multi-millionaires we live across the street from. For a family with three kids, this was great news. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. They send us birthday cards and Holiday cards. :-) And, in December they have gifts for all of the patients. I got a magnetic bracelet/necklace last year and the kids got those little stress balls that look like the world. We love Dr. Mike!

My fiance and I were looking for a chiropractor as well, and just called this business to inquire. The previous review appears to be quite accurate. She danced around our questions, and would not discuss the "plan" over the phone. Apparently they have two plans, and one of them is for 88 visits. We have great insurance that will cover 12 adjustments a year, but she could not confirm that they would honor that....We decided against making appointments. We did not get the sense that they were entirely trustworthy, and they were just too evasive for our taste.

I felt like I was buying a used car after my 3rd visit to Precision Chiropractic. For my first two visits, the doctor was on vacation so I met with a "substitute" chiropractor. She was great, she took my x-rays and adjusted me each time. After the doctor returned from vacation, I came for my doctor’s analysis appointment to meet the doctor, review my x-rays and to determine what help he could provide me. When I got there, I briefly met the doctor and I was then told I would meet with his assistant to discuss some items, and then the doctor would come to see me. Well, his assistant was nothing but the "dealership sales manager" sent in to get my money. We briefly went over my x-rays, then she asked "between 1 and 10, how committed are you to your health?" What she was really saying was, "how committed are you to coming here for 88 times over the next year and paying us $6000." After I told her I couldn't commit on the spot, even after she offered me a 20% discount if I signed up on the spot, I was quickly whisked to the appointment desk to set up another appointment for after I had time to think about "the plan." I never did see that doctor or get an adjustment. I guess without committing to the plan, they don't want you as a client. I ended up canceling that appointment, talking to 3 other chiropractors and found out that the other 3 had different philosophies in doing business than Precision Chiropractic. Precision Chiropractic looks to be a thriving business, but their business practices just don’t fit me.
