My wife and I worked with Woodstream on a house remodel gone wrong. We discovered unexpected foundation and soil issues *after* the roof was off, leading to a cascading series of delays, water damage (due to rain) and related cost overruns. Although the project wound up being larger and more complex than Woodstream was really prepared for, they did a commendable job of working through the problems in a fair and consistent way. I don't think they're equally good at every aspect of residential construction or project management, but they're stand-up folks who care about both doing good work and maintaining good client relationships, and I'd work with them again.

Ale House has consistently average food, sometimes poor. The only constant is the service, which is always poor. For excellent service and food, cross 228th to Lanponi Thai. You will not be disappointed there. However, if you find yourself desperate for a drink one night (and DC's Grill has already closed), Ale House is one of the Plateau's only options.

Lanponi is a great place to get yummy Thai food. The atmosphere leaves a bit to be desired, but the food and service make up for it. It is reasonably priced as well! The bad news is that there seems to be some inconsistency in how spicy the dishes are. The last time I went there, we ordered level 2 (out of 5) and it was way too spicy. I know we've previously ordered level 3 that was less spicy.
