We were visiting relatives in Salt Lake City this past week and went to Sage for the first time. This vegetarian/vegan restaurant was featured in our Hotel restaurant guide and were we ever happy. This place is great in many ways. The neighborhood is fantastic (believe it or not SLC is not all suburban chains and parking lots), the building great, good (affordable) wine list and the atmosphere superb. The best of the whole experience though was the food and the service. Our waiter was great, joked with us, kept our wineglasses full and in general was superb. The food was great too. I had hemp encrusted tempeh over a yummy teriyaki stirfry and my girlfriend had a raw-food lasagna. Both we great and so was the vegan chocolate cake and soy icecream. I would definitely check this place out!
