The best dry cleaning rates I've found in town are those at Lonnie's Cleaners, especially on Wednesdays. They have a special for $1.25 a shirt. That's pretty good compared to the $2 or so I've been paying before. They will also stand behind their product and fix anything that's not right.

The one thing my nephew LOVES about this toy store is the slide that he gets to slide d-o-w-n in order to enter the main entrance. Not to worry--adults can enter through the regular doors. :)
There are so many cool toys in this place. Everything under the sun. They carry a lot of things that you won't find at your "normal" toy store. Prices are a little higher, but when you find a cool gadget that you can't find anywhere else, it is worth it. You can even have it gift wrapped FREE!
The shop is located in the Foothill Village Shopping Center. Plenty of parking.

I used to take my son here starting when he was 1 up to when he was 5. The teachers are really nice and they also offer private kindegarten as well. My son was in the private kindegarten and did really well. They teach the basics as well as spanish and some other extras. When I took my son out to start 1st grade in public school, his teacher cried because she would miss him.

I went to them the other day and met this nice lady who took care of me like it was my birthday at grandma’s house. They really go out of their way to serve you like they really want your money. Challenger School does very little to involve either parents or staff in decision making.The director prefers to do things her way and does not welcome input from anyone. Teachers are not required to be certified which is an issue for me. Also staff turnover is high. Some of this is due to the director and her refusal to listen. Curriculum rules to the point that teachers have little flexibility. There is also a lot of homework.There is no foreign language program which also bothers me.Elementary schhol is the best time to teach a language. This is the age when children are most capable of learning one.
On the plus side, the kids are well behaved, safe and score well on tests.
Pros: kids score well on tests
Cons: no frills -foreign language etc

When I first started using this daycare I loved it, they had a good schedule with the kids, they were well supervised, and my son loved going. In fact he was excited to go and would cry when I came to pick him up. Almost as soon as he was moved to the toddler room he started hating it. He would throw huge tantrums when I would take him to drop him off, and I was constantaly signing accident reports, because he was getting bit, pushed and picked on. I kept asking the teachers why there was so many accidents and she told me it was just the age group. Then one time when the kids were outside I dropped my son off then I went to the window and watched them. The teachers were completely ignoring the kids they were engrossed in their own conversation. I watched as my son walked over to pick up a toy, as another child ripped the toy out of his hand and then pushed him to the ground. My son started crying and they didn't even look his direction or make sure he was ok, just keep talking to each other. I watched as my son got up and walked to the corner of the yard, he just sat there and pounted picking up pebbles, and picking at the grass the other child proceeded to pick on other kids and then walk over and started kicking my child. I had seen enough at this time and walked out got my child and left. I permently pulled him out of daycare, for lack of supervision.
I have had several family members use this daycare which is why I choose to use it, but after my recent experience I wouldn't recommend this place unless they replace thier daycare providers.
Pros: Good Location, Organized, affordable

Stonewash is a cool concept when it comes to a laundry mat. You can hear a live band (choices are different during the different days of the week), get a drink/beer and some grub while you wait for your clothes to get washed and dried.
You can wash your clothes for cheap if you go on Wednesdays--washers are $.75. The driers are FREE on Tuesdays. If you don't feel like doing the laudry yourself, you can let the staff do it for you at $.99 per pound.
I went with my good friend to help her with her laundry one evening. It was probably the funnest laundry mat experience I've ever had. We were there on a Wednesday and heard a cool jazz band. The only thing negative about the place was there were quite a few broken washers. The place was packed, so we had to wait longer than anticipated.

I've used their services a few times to get pants hemmed and was satisfied with the work that they did. They were very friendly and their prices seemed average.
