The Hogle Zoo seems to be the ideal zoo... big enough that you can see quite a few animals and learn a lot of new things, yet small enough that you don't feel absolutely exhausted after trying to see it all. You can probably see most of what you want in 3 hours... a good thing if you ask me. The kids really liked the lion exhibit, the elephants and of course, the monkeys. The bird adventure is particularly fun... by a stick of birdseed and watch the birds go wild!

I had no idea how nice the Hogle Zoo would be. My family arrived at 9:30 am which was a slow time. I didn't think $8 was unreasonable to pay to get in. The exibits were great especially the giraffe one. You can get up to eye level to the giraffes thanks to the stairs in the exibit. If you need something to snack on I didn't think the prices were that bad. Definitely bring good walking shoes because you do get a good workout there are quite a few steep hills. We spent 3 and a half hours there and had a great time. I haven'e been to many zoos but this is the best one I have been to so far.
Pros: Good value for the price
Cons: Not all exhibits were open

II've been to haunted houses where the actors grab you. This one doesn't. Their actors have been trained to be scary but with hands off. That is a plus! They have set it up to be fantastically entertaining but also you feel it is a safe environment for your family. The dynamics that have been put into this is amazing! Have never seen any haunted house so well planned! It is a great show from outside by the line! If you want a great time for any family or group.... THIS IS IT!! Even going by yourself is a fun experience where everyone is relating to the same experience! Don't miss it! This is the best year yet and we have gone every year for the past 20 years. These guys are professionalism at its best!!!!
Pros: None of the actors touch you.... that is cool!
Cons: None. Fantastic show!

The Redwood Drive-In Theatre is one of the only drive-ins in Salt Lake City. There are usually at least 12 different shows to choose from. I always try to arrive early so I can choose the best spot to park in. I always take along my own drinks and snacks to enjoy. It's a great place to take a date or your family to. Kick back and enjoy the show!

pictureline is a locally owend and operated camera store located in downtown Salt Lake City. Just walk in the front door and you will see why no other camera sotre in Utah compares. The place is clean and well organized. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgable.
If you need a camera, don't you dare go to Wal*mart or Best Buy. You will get a better price and better service here, and you'll be helping out your local economy.

Randy's Record Shop is a great place to go if you are into records. Randy's Record Shop is all about vinyl--so if you are into that or maybe you collect them, this is the place to shop. They have mostly used records, but they do get limited new records in. They also have cds and a few tapes available too. The staff are really friendly and helpful and knowledgeable too. The prices are great too!

I love the football season and hopefully this year is as good as last year. The U has a great stadium in a Better location. I would recommend going if you are in town try to catch a home game. They have been alot more fun in the last 3 years since urban urbanized the place. But im sure it will still be very enjoyable!!

They always run independent films and on Friday and Satuday nights at midnight they always show “cult” classics like “SLC Punk”, “Rocky Horror Picture Show”, “Aliens”, “Harold and Maude” and “Evil Dead”. Makes a great place for a date. They also have an extensive library of alternative videos on vhs and dvd.
