Canobie Lake Park offers more than just traditonal rides. There is also a water park area within the confines of the park. Don't bother going to the larger, more well known parks because it is not worth your time or money. Canobie Lake is cheaper than 6 Flags, with most of the rides being just as good. This is the perfect park to take children up to the age of 17 or so. THe park is located on a lake so for most of the day you get a nice breeze. One thing that I love about this park is that there are benches for the parents to sit everywhere throughout the park. Not only are the benches clean, the majority of them are located in the shade. The best part is that most lines for the rides are under 10 minutes. you can''t beat that! Food prices are very reasonable for an amusement park. Discount coupons available all over. Definately worth the trip!

Victorian Park was the first mini-golf park in the area to feature man-made waterfalls and caves to go with beautiful landscaping and a putting course that is challenging but without windmills and clowns. It's the kind of course that kids, adults and actual golfers can enjoy. Victorian Park also has a small arcade and an ice-cream shop. Make sure you bring mosquito repellent.

Best course in area, and priced accordingly. Reservations highly recommended. Finely manicured 18-hole semi-private facility. Scottish-style links, wide open fairways, large undulating greens. Mostly meadows on the front nine (3000 yards from white tees), largely hilly back nine (2700 yards). Lush, picturesque course with surrounding water, but few hazards. Road-crossing on front nine. Carts available. Real-grass driving range. Adequate putting green. Very nice pro shop and clubhouse. Lockers available. See their website at www.scottishhighlandsgolf.com.

Canobie Lake Park is sooo much fun! It's no six flags, but I prefer Canobie Lake for it's more family and community feel. It has TONS of fun, great rides! One weekend I stayed at a hotel in the area just to be able to go for 2 days! Cool stuff for the children too (lol). The price is good too.
