I have gone here a couple of times to get kittens. The service is top notch, and the staff is very friendly. When getting an animal here the animal always come first. They make sure that the animal is going to be well cared for and have plenty of space to play. They take very good care of all the animals here. There is always a large selection of pets to choose from, and if you don't see what you were looking for they will try to find it for you.

Catholic Charities is wonderful. They offer many services to poor and needy families. They give out presents at Christmas to needy parents who cannot afford to buy them for their kids. They also give out $10 emergency vouchers to families who need food. That's love in action!

Salem Hospital has beautiful, well-kept grounds, is in a convenient location, and has a variety of health services for many needs of many diverse people. They have support groups and all sorts of beneficial care. I was very pleased with the kind of service they provide and would absolutely travel to go there again if I fell ill or if anyone in my family fell ill.

The Salem News is the local daily paper of this town. If you reside in the area its a must. It publishes 6 days a week and they even publish on many of the Monday holidays too. They cover the Salem area, plus towns like Ipswich, Manchester, too. I only regret that they do not cover my previous hometown of Lynn. I do enjoy catching up on the local news though.
