The Salem Beer Works is a nice casual restaurant in downtown Salem. Here they have several different kinds of beer that are brewed right at this facility. They have large screen TV's for watching games that are very easy to see no matter where you might sit in the restaurant. At night, this serves as an excellent after-work place for locals. The food is not bad either- the menu serves casual American entrees and even has vegetarian dishes like veggie burgers on top of standards like chicken wings and fries. Not bad!

Andrew Michaels Spa & Salon was very disappointing. My 1 hour massage started over 30 minutes late- with no apologies or explanation. I requested a female, yet got a male staff, which I was a little uncomfortable with. There was no water left or tea to choose from in the waiting room- and no one around to ask if they would get me some...overall a bad experience.

The vets here are very knowledgeable. I was able to get in right away, they diagnosed my very ill cat with diabetes. She spent a few days in the hospital, and I'm happy to say she is doing well. They saved her life! Thank you New England Veterinary Clinic!

This is the prettiest, most pleasant metaphysical shop in all of the city. The people in there are nice and helpful and they have lots of beautiful product for sale for both witches and commoners alike. The ceiling is adorned with mobiles and shiny, beautiful items. I love the way their merchandise is presented and I love what they are selling!

Its a pleasant walk through the pickering wharf area shops along the water just to get to the restaurant. They have a huge salad and soup bar with practically everything. The good old stand by is their steak tips that my husband always orders. I like their scrod dinner. Very nice interior with intimate table seating. Some tables have a view of the harbor water and boats. I highly recommend.

Indian cuisine is by far one of my absolute favorites so I love to try it in every city I visit. This was one of the best meals I have ever had!! I went basic this time and just got the Chicken Curry (hot) and some Garlic Naan. Everything was so flavorful and just cooked perfectly. The garlic naan was the best I had ever had. The staff was very friendly and gave fantastic service. I'm only sorry that I don't live closer!

Edgewater Cafe is a great little niche for locals in the heart of Salem. The portions are huge and delicious. The sweet and sour wings have a kick to them, which provided me with a more than pleasant surprise. The chicken chimichangas are unlike any others I have had. They are covered in this white creamy sauce that was absolutely delicious.
Also, the margaritas are served in pint glasses (yes, please). They have an amazing tequila selection, so if you are a tequila connoisseur, this is your heaven.
Great food, great drinks all served by a friendly and fun staff. I am a huge fan.
